Kandy

At the Bandaranaike International Airport, your personal Passion Tours Guide will greet and welcome you to begin this exclusive Hill Country Tour in Sri Lanka. He will drive you to Kandy, where you can stop on the way at Kadugannawa view points. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and then check in to Cinnamon Citadel for the first night.

Nuwara Eliya

On the morning of the second day in Kandy you can visit the famous lake in the city center, the market and the many cononial buildings. On the way on the panoramic road you drive through the lush tea plantations of the hilly country and visit the Glenloch Tea Factory. On a tour through the factory, you will learn all the steps in the manufacture of how the tea leaves become the best tea in the world.

Upon reaching Nuwara Eliya, you will see the powerful Ramboda waterfalls and check in to Heritance Tea Factory for your next two overnights.

On Day 3 early morning visit the Horton Plains National Park – a 9km nature trail that takes you to World’s End and Bakers Falls. Later that day, you can visit the Seetha Amman Temple Nuwara Eliya with “Little England” and the Gregory lakeside.

Ella / Haputale

On Day 4 the next morning, we have lined up an exciting train journey – known to be one of the most beautiful in the world. From Nanu Oya to Badulla by train offers you all the beauty of Sri Lanka hill country. Upon reaching Badulla, you will visit the picturesque and beautiful Dunhinda waterfall. Later, check-in to the luxurious 98 Acres Resort and Spa for two nights.

On Day 5 in the morning you will visit the Lipton’s Seat, a fantastic panoramic view over the tea plantations and the hill country. You will have a chance to explore even more of the panoramic natural beauty in the hill country when you visit the small town of Ella and the famous Nine Arch Bridge near Ella (one of the technical marvels of the 20th century).

Little Adams Peak / Airport

At the morning time on your last day you have to explore Little Adams Peak. Hike through the beautiful tea plantations and enjoy the best views of the Ella Gap. The Rawana Waterfall is other attraction you can visit in Ella before heading to Airport or your booked beach hotel.
