Kandalama

After you exit the Bandaranaike International Airport, your personal Passion Tours Guide will take you to a luxurious and comfortable vehicle and drive you to Dambulla – which will be your first stop for this Green Tour in Sri Lanka. In the evening you can walk around by foot or bike the Kandalama Lake in beautiful nature until sunset.

Kaudulla National Park

In the morning Kaudulla National Park Habarana Jeep Safari. Experience one of Sri Lanka’s newest national parks and wildlife reserves at Kaudulla National Park, where you can come in close contact with elephants, among other majestic creatures.

At Evening Ascent to the Pidurangala rock with a wonderful view over Sigiriya and the plain (not overcrowded and hardly any tourists, best panorama).

You will visit the Sigiriya Village tour. Bullock Cart is ancient Sri Lanka’s one of the major transportation systems. Then, You can experience the traditional Sri Lankans transportation system and in the meantime you will experience green paddy fields in the Habarana Area.

Then You can ride a boat, during catamaran boat riding Can see Sigiriya Rock & Pidurangala rock in far away. The best and amazing scenery is Sigiriya and green bushes / endemic birds.

You will visit Farmer’s house. Indeed, you can experience typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality at his house. Then, after you can walk through his farm. After a Short time, you can experience different types of cultivation methods and vegetables. In the end, you can experience a typical countryside Sri Lankan lunch at Farmer’s house.

After lunch, we lined up a fishing activity on the Kandalama lake with local villagers. Joining a village fisherman in freshwater fishing is a one-of-a-kind experience that you would not want to miss. The local fishing folk will advise you on modern and traditional techniques.

You will stay at Heritance Kandalama Hotel for three nights.

Bird Watching

In the morning we have scheduled a bird watching tour for you around Dambulla with an extra Guide. There are more than 200 different kinds of bird species found, including about 20 endemic birds.
